A delightful place to stay. Our room had a large balcony which was a blissful place to sit and hot weather meant we made good use of the pool. Very comfortable and quiet.

Booked 2 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful period Manor, with lovely villages nearby. Staff were the highlight and very friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Felt the En-suite was dated and didn’t quite fit in with the period features but minor improvements could easily fix this. Breakfast was lovely, just need to make sure to book your time slot.

We were delighted with our stay at Rectory Manor. We were made to feel very welcome by the host Frank. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable with lovely linen. The hotel was very peaceful and we weren't troubled by any noise. Walking through the gardens we were greeted by two very friendly Labradors who were a delight. We didn't stay for breakfast as our itinary didn't allow but did regret not being able to eat in the dining room with the lit open fire on the day we left. We would certainly return and would recommend if you are staying the area and want a piece of luxury.

I recently stayed at the Rectory Manor Hotel in Sudbury, and I can't say enough about my wonderful experience! The owner was incredibly helpful over the phone when I was choosing my room, making the booking process smooth and easy. Upon arrival, both the staff and the owner greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect, providing easy access to local attractions, and the hotel itself is a lovely place to relax. We had a fantastic time during our stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Rectory Manor Hotel. The interior was so cozy, warm and beautifully designed, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Frank shared so many fascinating stories and information about the hotel and the area, and we would like to thank him once again for his warm hospitality and lovely conversation. Our room was on the upper attic floor, and it had everything we needed. The attention given to even the smallest details was impressive and made our stay truly special. It was a wonderful night for me and my wife, and we would happily come back again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming stay.

Booked a double room for 2 nights 4th and 5th October. Highly recommend this hotel; the room was spacious and comfortable, the shower room was also spacious with plenty of hot water. The gardens and grounds are kept to a high standard. The breakfast room was well set out with plenty of options for food and drinks. We would have liked to have seen a vegan option on the cooked breakfast menu however they did offer vegan sausages, mushrooms and tomatoes (tasty). The labradors were very friendly and welcoming! There is plenty of parking and also two charging points if you should have an electric car.

I visit my daughter and family in Suffolk and The Rectory Manor is my refuge and haven from the happy but noisy chaos. I love this place. Nothing is too much trouble. Their home....because it is a home....is warm and welcoming and fascinating with an extraordinary amount of family history. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Cannot recommend more highly.
